Consulate Appointment!

Our Consulate appointment is scheduled for May 21st. Yeah! Our travel arrangements were made today, we will be leaving on Thursday May 10th at 7:40am, and returning on Wednesday May 23rd at 7:33pm. Needless to say we are beyond excited. We almost have Gracie's room finished and our goal is to have it complete over the next few days(I'll try to add pictures in a few days, or you can come by and see it) to focus the next two weeks on Matt. We are all having quite a bit of anxiety about being apart for 13 days, so we really want to give him some quality time before we leave. Thank you all for your prayers as we continue on this journey.

Nothing new

The waiting is getting harder but we have nothing new to report. We are waiting for our Consulate date to get our travel dates finalized. Waiting is hard, but this picture is a great reminder of who has stolen our hearts.

Travel Approval!

Today we received our travel approval. At this point it is more like an invitation. Our agency is working on getting our Consulate appointment (this is what makes everything final). At this point it looks like we will leave on the 10th and have her in our arms on the 14th. We should have final dates sometime this week.

While we wait

Sunday April 8, 2007 As we celebrated Easter today, we could not help but wonder what our little Gracie was doing. It looks like we will be celebrating Easter again when she gets home.

We hope to hear something this week about out travel approval, which would mean we would have a definitive travel date.

Blogging is very new to me, so will add as I figure things out.
